The Solidarity Sabbath started in 2015, when citizens around the world joined leaders from more than two dozen countries across Europe and North America to take a stand against the rise of anti-Semitism. Presidents, Prime Ministers, Ambassadors, Parliamentarians, and other government representatives participated, including President Barack Obama who spoke at the Adas Israel Congregation in Washington, DC.
